Greetings!
First off, let me take a second to introduce myself. My name is Grant Bryans, and I am the Town's Code Enforcement Officer. I have had the privilege of serving the Town for four years. Hello - are businesses allowed to amplify music as a use by right? Thanks!

We seek to provide a reasonable set of conditions for restaurants, bars, and other businesses in MU-MS, HC, and SMPUD to have outdoor live music on private property without applying for a permit. The Town recognizes the cultural and economic benefits of live music and desires a low impact/common sense approach for live music while respecting the needs and desires of residents and visitors for a family-friendly town.

is there a new rule on bear proof trash containers?

Thank you for reaching out. The new rules regarding trash are not specific to bears, but rather your trash containers. If an animal, wind, or neglect causes your trash to become litter, it can be subject to a fine.

Wondering if new rules on trash containers would also apply to recycling bins ?

Thank you for your question. We view recycling bins as the same as household garbage or any other waste put out. If an animal, wind, or neglect causes your trash to become litter, it can be subject to a fine.
Thank you for your contribution!
