Carbonate Street Development Community Survey #1

Thanks for taking 5 minutes to give us your feedback on the Carbonate Street project - your input is crucial!

The Town government itself is pursuing the development of two parcels of land on either side of Carbonate Street. The Town Trustees, in October, 2021, created three primary goals for the project:

• Create a minimum of 65 housing units both for-sale and rental deed restricted to serve local workforce earning between 60-140% of our Area Median Income (AMI);
• Create new childcare space that would serve youth under the age of 5;
• Create new commercial space dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and building a year-round economy;

Exactly how to meet these goals and whether it is possible to achieve all of them is what we're tackling now through this community design and input campaign.
