Water planning discussion

by jteipel,

This forum is a place where you can submit your thoughts, respond to others' thoughts, and carry on a discussion! Your comments here will be used to help direct future conversations on this topic - especially as we get into updating or redoing our Comprehensive Plan.

Ground rules: Be kind. Be respectful. Be productive and work at positive framing (i.e. try not to use the word 'don't'!).

Here are some questions to get your juices flowing. Feel free to respond to all of them, one of them, or offer other thoughts on related questions.

How does water availability intersect with what we want BV to be? How do we, or should we, allow or incentivize certain types of housing over others (i.e. affordable, workforce, etc)? Do we want to grow endlessly? Or does our community need to stay to a certain size? What is that size? Should we limit growth by limiting new water taps? If so, how should that be done? If not, how to do deal with new water development while still trying to maintain a certain size of community?
