City Market Breaks Ground in Buena Vista!

Construction is officially underway on Buena Vista’s new City Market! The project broke ground on September 14, 2026, and is targeted to be substantially complete by the end of summer 2027.

The project will bring a new approximately 60,000-square-foot grocery store to Buena Vista, along with a fueling station, drive-through pharmacy, online grocery pickup, more than 200 vehicle parking spaces, dedicated ADA and EV parking, and bicycle parking. The project also includes transportation and access improvements including a new traffic light at Farwell Street and sidewalks along the site's frontage on Hwy 24.

After moving through the Town’s development review and public hearing process, it’s exciting to see construction underway on this significant investment in the Buena Vista community!
