2024 Paving Project

Project title: 2024 Paving Project

Project purpose or justification: Many streets within the town need milled and paved. These are degraded asphalt streets.

Project objective: To install asphalt applications to existing Town of Buena Vista streets.

Project scope: The existing street with be milled and serviced with an asphalt application, compliant with CDOT SX mix of Town streets. The streets selected for this year’s paving projects are:

• County Road 319/Aviation Road
• South Pleasant Avenue

Project deliverables:

• The works includes full depth milling, 3” asphalt overlay compliant with CDOT SX mix and Chip Sealing of various roads at various locations around Town.

Project timeline:

• Monday/Tuesday 6-24/6-25 to start and the full milling scope is expected to take two days.
  • There will be grading work to follow.
